Welcome to my world. I am Francesca Cavini, a journalist, an author and a gastronomical blogger. A cinephile and a passionate reader. A professional communicator. But most of all, I am a storyteller.

I have been in the media and communications world for twenty years. I started as a radio journalist and then moved to the printed side of the media world, working mostly as a full time journalist for the Editorial Group Poligrafici Editoriale Spa. I wrote hundreds of articles both for printed and online newspapers, magazines and blogs. Topics ranging from entertainment to chronicle, economics and agriculture.

I also have experience as press officer for non editorial companies, for whom I develop promotional media plans and manage websites. I constantly update my professional background attending courses in marketing, filming, social media management, storytelling and yes, cooking too. I blog of food, books, agriculture, environment preservation and circular economy.

At present, I am working on a Foodism Guide to the Via Francigena in Tuscany.

My first book, “In cucina con una cuoca pericolosa” (In the kitchen with a dangerous cook) is a collection of stories about the funny side of people and food.
